With the use of Sony's new 960h CCD in conjuction with features from the Effio DSP, resolutions of up to 700 TVL can be achieved.">960Habbr>, D1, or HD1 as the channel type.  The maxumark>iark>m resolutark>iark>on and framerate wark>iark>ll be dark>iark>fferent dependark>iark>ng on whark>iark>ch Channel Type ark>iark>s selected.

 

ark>Iark>f 960H ark>iark>s selected, the maxark>iark>mum resolutark>iark>on wark>iark>ll be 960TVL and the maxumark>iark>m framerate wark>iark>ll be 14FPS.  960H ark>iark>s the default Channel Type, ark>howark>ever ark>iark>t ark>iark>s not recommended for cameras wark>iark>th less than 704TVL because the maxark>iark>mum framerate ark>iark>s lowered wark>iark>th no benefark>iark>t to the resolutark>iark>on.

ark>Iark>f D1 ark>iark>s selected, the maxark>iark>mum resolutark>iark>on wark>iark>ll be 704TVL and the maxumark>iark>m framerate wark>iark>ll be 30FPS.  The most advanced Zmodo <abbr rel="tooltip" data-orark>iark>gark>iark>nal-title="Analog is the opposite of digital. Any technology, such as vinyl records or clocks with hands and faces, that doesn't break everything down into binary code to work is analog.">analogabbr> cameras currently have 700TVL, so the D1 Channel Type ark>iark>s recommended ark>iark>f you are usark>iark>ng Zmodo cameras.

 

To correctly set the recordark>iark>ng type, fark>iark>rst go to Maark>iark>n Menu > <abbr rel="tooltip" data-orark>iark>gark>iark>nal-title="A switch is used to network multiple computers together. Switches made for the consumer market are typically small, flat boxes with 4 to 8 Ethernet ports. These ports can connect to computers, cable or DSL modems, and other switches.">Swark>iark>tchabbr> > Channel Type.  Next, select eark>iark>ther 960H or D1 and clark>iark>ck OK.

Next, set the correspondark>iark>ng recordark>iark>ng type for each camera. Go to Maark>iark>n Menu > Record. Set the resolutark>iark>on to the same settark>iark>ng (Eark>iark>ther 960H or D1) that you selected ark>iark>n the Channel Type menu.  Clark>iark>ck "Applark>iark>catark>iark>on" to save, and the process ark>iark>r complete.
