The following is a list of many possible actions that will void the 1-year warranty on any Zmodo product.
(Please note, this list serves to provide examples and is not all-inclusive.)
- Permanent alterations, for example:
- soldering
- filing
- severing cables
- drilling
- painting
- Weather damage on cameras that are not rated for outdoor use
- Power damage related to:
- power surge
- lightning
- power outage
- using the wrong voltage power supply
The following are examples of actions that will NOT void the warranty:
- Opening camera to refocus the lens
- removing outer casing of DVR to check internal connections
